Taking Responsibility For His Future
Ryan was 24 years old when he was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. He had failed out of college, lost his job, and was back living with his parents.
His parents didn’t know what to do with him. Rehab was out of the question, as they had already invested a lot of money in an effort at rehab that failed. They were agonizing over whether to kick him out of the house when they discovered Custom Coaching Solutions.
Our coach created a plan for Ryan that involved joining AA, making decisions for his future, setting goals, and saving money to achieve those goals. The coach attended the AA meetings with Ryan every week. Ryan received Recovery Coaching on the Daily Concierge Program for 6 months before moving to the Maintenance Program.
Now, Ryan has been sober for over a year. He is working a steady job and saving money to achieve his goals. Ryan determined that he does not want to return to college, so he is working towards a career that he chose. He has taken responsibility for his life and feels capable and confident.
Recently, his parents went on a vacation away from home. His mother expressed her gratitude that she can now do things for herself without obsessing over Ryan’s well being; both Ryan and his parents feel liberated!
