Our mission is to empower young men to take control of their lives and overcome obstacles to their success. Through personalized coaching for these young men and with the support of their families, we provide a framework for responsible, independent living. It is our belief that with the right tools, every young man can take responsibility for his future and rise to become a healthy, productive member of society.

What We Do
Custom Coaching Solutions is a mentorship service that offers life coaching, spiritual coaching, recovery coaching, sober coaching, and failure to launch programs for men in the Charlotte, NC area. We partner with young mens’ families to give them direction, motivate them for independence, and build the skills they need to craft the life they want. Since every client is unique, every solution is custom-made to fit each situation.

The Proven Effects Of Custom Coaching Solutions:
Addiction prevention - Depression, low self-esteem, and lack of purpose can lead to dependence on pot, alcohol, and hard drugs. CCS can intervene to help your son find his purpose before he turns to substance abuse.
Rehab prevention - When a young man is using alcohol or drugs, many families turn to rehab. CCS can help your son break his dependence on substances without rehab.
Anxiety prevention - CCS will provide guidance, clearly defined goals, and a sense of purpose and control over life to keep your son from falling victim to anxiety.
Depression prevention - Without a purpose, a healthy routine, and goals for success, any young man can sink into depression. CCS builds life skills and motivates your son to find happiness instead of succumbing to depression.
Suicide prevention - If left unchecked, stagnation, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and addiction put young men at risk for suicide. Our mission is to save young men from this fate by offering hope to them and their families.
A Letter from Coach Johnny Henderson:
Hi, I’m Coach Johnny, and I know what it means to let your life spiral out of control.
I was a sophomore in high school when I decided that alcohol was the solution to all of my problems. Over the course of 15 years, it poisoned my aspirations, my personal relationships, and my marriage. I also struggled with depression during those dark times. It took me far too long “going it alone” before I realized that I needed the help of others. Once I embraced the “we,” I was able to get sober and seize the happiness that was waiting for me.
The truth is that very few people can do this alone. I know that if I’d had a coach in my corner to keep me accountable, remind me of my goals, and pick me up at my lowest points, I would not have wasted so many years of my life on alcohol. Still, I also know that I am one of the lucky ones; many young men in my situation succumb to alcohol poisoning or suicide.
That’s why I feel called to save others from the mistakes I made and the years I wasted. Our young men have so many opportunities these days, but they also seem unhappier than ever before. My goal is to show them that they don’t have to suffer; they have a choice. I believe that pain is inevitable in this world, but suffering is optional. I strive to guide struggling young men to learn new skills and embrace the support of others and a higher power.*
Because the truth is, everyone can have freedom, peace, and joy regardless of their situation or circumstances. It is my hope that my clients can come to see that truth in a far shorter time than I did so that they can find happiness and live a full life.
